A little bit about me…

I am Faith Kurdi, the owner of Hairfree, LLC. My career in the spa and wellness business began 9 years ago after 15 years of executive secretarial work and 20 years of raising my sons as a homemaker.

My journey in the spa and wellness industry began as an NC licensed nail technician with The Body Café, an upscale spa in Durham. During that time, I offered manicures and pedicures to those seeking spa services as well as specialty geriatric pedicures.

There is a special place in my heart for those who cannot care for their own feet after caring for my grandfather’s feet. He lived many years with pain and toenail issues as a former POW. Through my pedicure services, he was able to walk on his feet with less pain and with beautiful new toenails.

After that, I began work at Amazing Grace Salon and Spa in Hillsborough. Under the business name of Permanent Makeup with Faith, I offered permanent make-up services such as tattooing eyeliner, lips, and eyebrows, as well as camo services for scars. Ladies who could no longer see well or did not have a steady hand came to me for eyeliner and eyebrow tattooing. I saw women whose lives were changed, and they began to feel better about themselves through the love and caring services I provided.

I originally started my business in Kernersville, NC by receiving the clients of Ronda Jones after her retirement. Ronda was in the business for 25 years as an electrologist while also serving on the NC Board of Electrolysis Examiners (NCBEE). Many of Ronda’s clients continued services with me until they were Hairfree or chose to begin treatment on other areas of the body.

At the moment, I have a full schedule of clients of all ages, all skin tones, and all skin types. I love that I’m not only providing a variety of services for my clients but that I can have the time to personally connect with each of them. Treating my clients as quickly as possible so that they do not need to return more than is necessary is also important to me.

Originally a Yankee from Flint, Michigan, I grew up in the country near my grandparents; fishing, riding my bicycle, and even having my own motorcycle at 12! I enjoy the outdoors during all seasons. Before moving to the Raleigh/Chapel Hill/Durham area 31 years ago I lived in Dallas, Texas.

I’m the proud mother of two successful sons, one a dentist and the other an electrical engineer. As a homemaker, I was actively involved with the PTA, sports, music, and neighborhood activities. I currently live in Mebane, NC with my three little rescue animals: my little terrier Button, and my two Italian greyhounds Rosie and Rico.
